Honeymoon Day 3 - Cingjing 清境

After checking out, we got the staff to help us call a cab.
We took the cab from  Eiffel Tower to the HSR station.
The trip cost us about NT300+ but the cab uncle gave us a slight discount.(:

We intend to take Nantou bus at the HSR station to Cingjing (NT286)
The trip will take about 2.5 hours or even more.
Nantou Bus website: http://www.ntbus.com.tw

Maybe it's honeymooner's luck, a cab driver spotted us joining the queue to purchase the bus tickets and he approached us.
Instead of the usual NT1800 which I've seen on a lot of websites, he only charged us NT600.
Which is just NT14 more per person and we get to reach Cingjing in just 1 hour!

Mega awesome!
We dropped off at the tourist center at Cingjing, where we have to wait for our minsu owner to come pick our stuffs up.

We stayed 2D1N at Starry House 觀星園~

The view from the customer service center~

The driver came within 30 mins and he dropped us at Green Green Grassland!

It's better to visit on a weekday, obviously.
We don't even have to queue for anything.

Sian, that coat made me look fat. LOL.

This thing is awesome, you had to pay only NT10 and you can view the scenery for 32897497 mins.
We stood there for quite sometime and the thing just keep working.

The scenery is just breath taking.

Oh hi xiao meh meh!
This is our first time getting THIS close to a sheep.

Chomp chomp chomp.

We walked further down and we reached the animal show area.
You can paid a small amount to ride the horse and take some pictures.
But I opted out because the smell is mega disgusting.

We decided to just walk around and feed the sheep.

The sheep there are very energetic.
Instead of the soft and cute mehhhhh~

They go more like MEHHH!!!!!@^*;#^!@
Scary shit.

Noticed the poor guy at the right of the picture.
He paid for the food and before he could collect them, the sheep rammed over him and took over the machine.
He fell from the impact.

MEHHH!!!!*!@^#^!@

I managed to sheep-napped one of the more gentle one to take a picture with.

They felt super warm and soft +_+ mega cutesy.

P and I escaped to another place with lesser sheep so we won't get attack.

Hahaha! P is super scared as the sheep is really aggressive.
MEH! GIMMI FOOD HUMAN!!

After taking enough pictures with the sheep, we proceeded to the food area.
It's pretty much a one way thing, so you don't really need a good sense of direction to get here. LOL.

Marble soda! Singapore had stop selling them because apparently children choked on the marble inside.
Not sure if it's a weekday therefore a lot of the stalls are closed.
Didn't managed to get anything to eat.

This is the 2nd part of the Grassland.
There is nothing much here, but the scenery is nicer.

The stair is the last stop of the grassland.
Ain't we glad that we walk from the top to the bottom.
If we have to climb the stairs up we would have died.

487 steps by the way.
The way down is relaxing and cooling.
We are very lucky as we get to catch the cloud sea!

You can only see the cloud sea during good weather.
Neither too sunny nor windy.

Beautiful flowers blooming all around. (:

After about 30mins (we stopped a lot to take pictures) we finally reached the ground floor.
When you exited, there are some shops.
We are so tired so we rested at one area which has massage chairs.

A very friendly auntie promoter saw us and came over to offer us something to drink while doing the massage.
We ended up buying 3 packet of the drinks from her.

Black sugar is quite popular in Taiwan.
Said to be very good for health.
There are small cubes of black sugar and you have to put it inside a cup of hot water for 10mins before it's ready to drink.

She even gave us a free cup of ginger tea to keep warm.
Taiwanese are just :') daebak.

I'm loving every single thing about this trip! :')
We walked a bit more and we reached the Swiss Garden.

There is one Carton King at Cingjing also.
We planned to eat here because when you spent more than NT300, you will get 1 free ticket to the Swiss Garden.

The service is very slow here.
We waited awhile before we were served although there were only 4-5 tables occupied.

The cool cup with warm water.
Pardon my messy hair and shag face.
I've just walked the total distance that I would for the whole year in Singapore.

The choice of food is very little.
And the food is a bit overpriced.

Even the high tea set don't look appealing.

And we had the most disgusting lime juice.

I ordered vegetarian spaghetti.
It tasted bland and the ingredient is only broccoli and mushroom.

Well, to be fair it does comes in a cute paper boat plate.
I got that going for me, which is nice.

P's beef spaghetti.
Frankly speaking I don't see any different. -_-

Verdict : The food is disgusting and overpriced.
Highly not recommended to dine in.
Service is poor too.

Our total bill amount to NT590+
A bit lesser than NT600 so they only gave us 1 free ticket.
-_- We should have eaten elsewhere and get the ticket to Swiss Garden ourselves.

There are really nothing much in Cingjing.
Swiss Garden is not really worth visiting but if you don't visit it you basically have nowhere else to go.

Swiss Garden is really small and can be covered in less than 30 mins.

Feeding time~(:

I can't even describe how disappointing it is when I looked into the water.

The water is coated with a layer of oily, slimy stuffs.
I don't understand why the pond is so under maintenance and the place can still be called an attraction.

We left the place after we finished feeding.
Sat inside 7-11 for an hour to wait for the minsu's driver to pick us up.

It was about 5 degree C.
I'm feeling extremely unwell.
Guess I cannot handle cold weather.

The view from our room.
We were looking forward to the steamboat dinner provided by the minsu.

The food is really nice but we didn't had much because we felt like shit.
We turn in at 8pm and skipped the trip to He Huan Shan.

Because it's snowing on top and I believe if I couldn't handle 5 degree C. I couldn't handle a negative degree C.

With that being said, Cingjing is a nice place to visit but just for 1 day.
Do not stay more than a day because there are absolutely nothing to do.
